About Fast Plates
A UK plate maker that takes the rules as seriously as the finish.
Fast Plates is the trading name of Fast Cars Dealer Ltd, a DVLA registered number plate supplier (SID 75218). We've been pressing plates for private drivers, independent garages, dealerships and fleet operators across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland since 2013.
Our workshop
Pressed, finished and inspected by hand.
Every plate starts as a blank reflective acrylic sheet from a UK approved sheet supplier. The Charles Wright characters are pressed under heat, the 3D and 4D options are hand-built with resin or laser cut acrylic, and the supplier strip is added before the plate is bagged, labelled and dispatched.
Nothing leaves the workshop without a final visual check against your order. If a plate isn't right, it goes back to the bench, not out the door.

Compliance is non-negotiable
Every road legal plate we make conforms to BS AU 145e, uses Charles Wright characters and carries the supplier strip required by the DVLA. We refuse orders that don't meet the standard, even when the customer pushes back.
Made in-house, not resold
We press, finish and inspect every plate ourselves in our Midlands workshop. No middlemen, no white-labelled stock, no surprises on the finish.
Materials that last
Reflective sheeting from approved UK suppliers, premium acrylic blanks, automotive-grade adhesives. We use the same materials whether you spend twenty pounds or two hundred.
People you can reach
Real humans answer the phone, the WhatsApp and the email. If something isn't right, you talk to someone who can fix it the same day.

We're listed on the DVLA Register of Number Plate Suppliers (SID 75218, authorised to 31/03/2026). That means every road legal order is logged, every document you upload is checked, and every plate carries the legal supplier mark. It's how the rules work, and it's how we work.
